| I like to consider myself a centrist, I try to keep my political views as moderate as possible so as I can make fun of the left and right wings with equal enthusiasm. Not only does it double the amount of people I can make fun of, it also allows my arguments to make more sense as I'll capable of at least understanding the point that the opposing side is trying to make. However, sometimes you encounter an individual so far out they are entirely unable to be understood, they are the lunatic fringe. These people have gone so far left or so far right that they now share their border with some type of twilight zone dimension which thoughts are produced with absolutely no hint of brain activity at all. It's these ideas that blind side you as they go against everything sane that you've ever known. Some of these gems include: From the Right: "The current economic slump is due to the policies of the Clinton administration because economic polices only start taking effect 10 years after they are put in place." Be advised, we've scheduled a depression ten years from now. From the Left: "The US grants to Iraq don't them help at all because the reconstruction contracts are all going to US companies." If only we'd heard from this wise messiah earlier, we could have spent all that 87 billion on Hustler magazines and pixie sticks. Far be it from me to question these economics majors, but wouldn't there be a lot more millionaires around if the stock markets worked on such a predictable cycle? Do Iraqis not wish to have hospitals and schools? Doesn't it piss you off that you have to retort to something so stupid when you could better spend your time slamming your penis in the toilet seat? Doesn't it piss you off even more that this person wholeheartedly believes this and that there's probably nothing you could say to them that would make them change their mind? Then does it make you sad that this person is presumably the same species as you? Doesn't it make you want to drink and do drugs to make the pain go away? Is this the reason why all the sane people die out at early ages and all the people left in nursing homes make strange noises and scream incoherent things at the top of their lungs in the middle of the night?
